Introduction of BIO-FILLER
Bio-filler** is an innovative, natural, and cost-effective alternative to traditional dermal fillers, created from the patient’s own blood components. It is often referred to as *plasma gel filler* because it is derived from *platelet-poor plasma (PPP)*, which is processed to form a gel-like substance that can be injected into the skin to restore volume, smooth wrinkles, and rejuvenate tissue.
What is Bio-Filler?
Bio-filler is an *autologous filler* (meaning it comes from the patient’s own body) made by heating and cooling plasma extracted from a simple blood draw. The plasma is transformed into a *viscous gel* that mimics the properties of hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, but with the added benefit of being *biocompatible, natural, and regenerative*.
Key Characteristics:
– *100% autologous:* No synthetic substances, reducing allergic or rejection risks.
– *Volume restoration:* Works like a natural filler to plump areas of volume loss.
– *Collagen stimulation:* Growth factors in plasma promote skin regeneration.
– *Biodegradable:* Gradually absorbed by the body while stimulating tissue repair.
– *Cost-effective:* Uses the patient’s own plasma, reducing material costs.
Common Treatment Areas:
– Tear troughs (under-eye hollows)
– Nasolabial folds
– Marionette lines
– Cheeks and temples (volume loss)
– Fine lines around lips and mouth
– Neck and décolleté rejuvenation
After BIO-FILLER:
Immediate Aftercare (First 24–48 Hours)
– *Avoid touching or massaging* the treated area unless instructed by your practitioner.
– *Do not apply makeup* for at least 12–24 hours to reduce infection risk.
– *Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, hot baths, or steam rooms* for 24–48 hours to prevent swelling and bruising.
– *No alcohol or smoking* for 24 hours, as these can impair healing and increase bruising.
– *Apply cold compresses* (wrapped in a clean cloth) for 10–15 minutes at a time to reduce swelling or discomfort.
(First Week)
– *Sleep on your back* with your head slightly elevated for the first 1–2 nights to avoid pressure on treated areas.
– *Avoid dental treatments, facial massages, or skin treatments* (microneedling, peels, lasers) for at least 1 week.
– *Stay hydrated* and maintain a healthy diet to support skin healing and collagen stimulation.
– *Mild swelling, redness, or bruising* is normal and should resolve within a few days.
