BOTOX FAQ

Our Botox Promise

At I Care Beauty Clinic, our goal is to achieve natural-looking results while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety.

When patients choose to follow their treating doctor’s recommended Botox treatment plan, we support that recommendation with one complimentary clinical review and touch-up assessment within 21 days, if clinically indicated.

This policy reflects our confidence in our practitioners’ clinical judgment and our commitment to delivering personalized, high-quality patient care.

Botox is a prescription medication derived from botulinum toxin type A. It is administered in very small, carefully controlled doses by qualified healthcare professionals to temporarily relax selected muscles.

In medical aesthetics, Botox is commonly used to soften the appearance of dynamic facial wrinkles caused by repeated muscle movement, helping create a smoother and more refreshed appearance.

At I Care Beauty Clinic, all Botox treatments are performed only after a comprehensive consultation and assessment to determine whether the treatment is appropriate for you.

Depending on your individual assessment, Botox may be used to treat:

Cosmetic Concerns

  • Forehead lines
  • Frown lines (between the eyebrows)
  • Crow’s feet
  • Bunny lines
  • Chin dimpling
  • Lip flip
  • Downturned corners of the mouth
  • Neck bands
  • Jawline slimming (selected patients)
  • Excessive gummy smile

Medical Uses

Depending on the practitioner’s assessment, Botox may also be used for certain medical conditions such as excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) and other approved indications.

Your practitioner will discuss whether Botox is appropriate for your concerns.

Botox temporarily reduces the activity of selected muscles by blocking the nerve signals that cause them to contract.

As the treated muscles relax, the overlying skin may appear smoother, reducing the appearance of dynamic wrinkles while allowing natural facial expressions to be maintained when appropriately administered.

Botox does not work immediately.

Many patients begin noticing changes within 3–5 days, with results continuing to develop over approximately 10–14 days.

Individual response times vary.

The duration of Botox varies from person to person.

Many patients experience results lasting approximately 3–4 months, although this may vary depending on:

  • Treatment area
  • Individual metabolism
  • Muscle activity
  • Dosage
  • Previous treatments

Your practitioner will recommend an appropriate maintenance schedule based on your response.

Most patients tolerate Botox well.

The injections are performed using very fine needles.

Patients commonly describe the sensation as:

  • A quick pinching feeling
  • Mild pressure
  • Brief discomfort

Treatment is generally well tolerated and is completed within a short period.

Most Botox appointments take approximately 20–30 minutes, including:

  • Consultation or treatment review
  • Facial assessment
  • Treatment planning
  • Botox injections
  • Review of aftercare instructions

Treatment time may vary depending on the number of areas being treated.

Botox may be appropriate for adults who:

  • Have dynamic facial wrinkles
  • Wish to soften facial lines
  • Want a non-surgical treatment
  • Have realistic expectations
  • Are medically suitable for treatment

A consultation is required to determine whether Botox is appropriate for your individual needs.

When administered by appropriately trained healthcare professionals using approved products and proper techniques, Botox has an established safety profile for approved indications.

Before treatment, your practitioner will carefully review:

  • Medical history
  • Current medications
  • Allergies
  • Previous cosmetic procedures
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding status
  • Treatment goals

This assessment helps determine whether Botox is suitable for you.

Absolutely.

Botox is suitable for both women and men.

Many male patients choose Botox to soften forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet, and other dynamic facial wrinkles while maintaining a natural appearance.

Every treatment plan is customized according to the patient’s facial anatomy and goals.

Yes.

When Botox is appropriately administered, most patients continue to make normal facial expressions.

The goal is to reduce excessive muscle movement that contributes to dynamic wrinkles while preserving a natural appearance.

If you decide not to continue treatment, the effects gradually wear off over time.

Your facial muscles return to their normal activity, and your wrinkles gradually return to how they would naturally appear. Botox does not permanently change your facial muscles.

Many patients choose maintenance treatments approximately every 3–4 months.

However, the ideal schedule depends on:

  • Individual muscle activity

  • Treatment areas

  • Personal goals

  • Response to previous treatments

Your practitioner will recommend a personalized maintenance schedule.

During your consultation, your practitioner will evaluate:

  • Facial anatomy

  • Muscle movement

  • Skin quality

  • Medical history

  • Current medications

  • Previous cosmetic treatments

  • Treatment goals

  • Expectations

This comprehensive assessment allows us to create a personalized treatment plan that prioritizes safety and natural-looking results.

Yes.

At I Care Beauty Clinic, we stand behind the professional assessment and treatment recommendations provided by our qualified healthcare practitioners.

If, during your consultation, the treating doctor recommends a specific number of Botox units based on your facial anatomy, muscle strength, and desired outcome, and you choose to proceed with the doctor’s recommended treatment plan, .you are eligible for one complimentary clinical review and touch-up assessment within 21 days of your treatment…”, if the treating doctor determines that additional units are clinically appropriate to optimize your results.

This complimentary clinical review and touch-up assessment is typically scheduled approximately 10–14 days after treatment, when Botox has reached its full clinical effect. During this appointment, the treating doctor will assess your results and determine whether any additional Botox units are clinically indicated based on the original treatment plan. when Botox has reached its full clinical effect.

If, during the follow-up assessment, the treating doctor determines that additional Botox units are clinically indicated to optimize the treatment outcome based on the original treatment plan, those additional units will be provided at no additional cost.

Your treating doctor will always recommend the number of Botox units that they believe is most appropriate based on:

  • Your facial anatomy

  • Muscle strength

  • Facial symmetry

  • Treatment goals

  • Clinical assessment

  • Safe medical practice

If you choose not to follow the doctor’s recommended number of units and instead request a different number of units—whether fewer or more than recommended—you are welcome to discuss this with your treating practitioner.

If the treating doctor agrees that your requested treatment is medically appropriate and proceeds with treatment based on your request, any future adjustments or additional Botox required because the original medical recommendation was not followed will not be considered a complimentary touch-up.

Any additional treatment will be charged at the clinic’s current Botox pricing.

Patients are always welcome to discuss their preferences and treatment goals.

However, Botox is a prescription medical treatment, and the final decision regarding whether treatment will be provided, the areas treated, and the number of units administered rests solely with the treating doctor or qualified healthcare practitioner.

If a requested number of units is considered medically inappropriate, unlikely to achieve the desired result, or inconsistent with safe clinical practice, the practitioner may:

  • Recommend a different number of units.

  • Recommend an alternative treatment plan.

  • Postpone treatment.

  • Decline treatment.

These decisions are made in the interest of patient safety and achieving the most appropriate clinical outcome.
